I created this map after traveling through Bolivia and realizing how shockingly few roads were paved. Land-locked Bolivia is South America’s poorest country. I wonder what effect the state of its roads–its primary method of transporting goods and people–has on Bolivia’s economy. What benefits would we see if more of Bolivia’s roads were paved? Source
