The Cost of Obesity in America

Two thirds of Americans are considered overweight and obesity is a costly epidemic. It is estimated that obesity costs nearly $73.1 billion dollars in full-time workers and the total economic cost of obesity in the US is estimated to be $270 billion. The American obesity problem is a serious epidemic that has multiple consequences not only in health.
